Clara Hellner is a German freelance journalist.

As a child, she used to write short stories and dreamt of becoming a foreign reporter, but then changed her mind an pursued medical studies in Berlin and Marseille with the plan to work for Médecins Sans Frontières.

During her studies, she started working for media outlets like Die Zeit and Süddeutsche Zeitung and other magazines. Today, she is a medical doctor, and works as a reporter from Germany and France. She is part of the author's collective Hermes Baby.
