Bernat Marrè is a freelance journalist and independent reporter who is based in Spain.
He specialises in human rights, migration, international conflicts, and environmental issues, with a strong emphasis on solutions journalism and transformative storytelling. His work has appeared in leading media such as El País, Público, La Marea, Revista Late, Revolve, Semanario Brecha o La Directa.
He is a member of Revista Late, an Ibero-American collective dedicated to narrative and slow journalism, and co-founder of Mirada Colibrí, an audiovisual collective focused on human rights and social transformation.
Alongside his journalistic work, Bernat has extensive experience in research and communications with NGOs in Colombia, Mexico, and Palestine, including the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), the Catalan Association for Peace, and Acción Internacional por la Paz, Catalan Commission for Refugee Action or UNHCR.
