Andrei Becheru (Romania) is a photographer.
Andrei is a co-founder of the FOC collective, working as an editor and producer with photographers on long-term visual documentary projects and publications.
He studied industrial design at the National University of Arts Bucharest and graduated in 2007. After university he worked as a graphic designer and gradually started to become interested in photography. In 2008, he began "The Fountain", a long-term project about life in Dobrogea, published in "BURN Magazine" (2012) and in "Formaje: Romanian Art Files Magazine" (2013). Currently he is a freelance photographer, the images taken for documenting the project "Light for Romania" starting with 2014, still ongoing, have appeared in Arte.tv, Radio France Internationale, Internazionale (it), Reader's Digest (ro), Dilema Veche, TVR1-Romanian National Television and many other publications.
