Alpha Kamara is a Sierra Leonean born human rights and multimedia journalist and blogger.

He has worked across Africa for various  agencies including the BBC, Open Society, Oxfam and Journalists for Human Rights. He believes in using words and pictures to tell stories of the vulnerable victims. He is a board member for the Coalition of Minority Journalists in New York, a member of the Sierra Leone Association of Journalists and a freelance writer for various international publications. He holds a Masters degree in Multimedia Journalism (News and Documentaries major) from the University in New York.
