Alma De Walsche (born 1955, Belgium) worked as an editor for Wereldwijd magazine for 11 years. After Worldwide merged with the global magazine MO*, she worked for MO*.

From 1981 to 1986, Alma lived in Ecuador and did formative work in Indian communities. Since then she has continued to follow current affairs in Latin America. De Walsche writes mainly for MO*, but also gives lectures and courses on Latin America. She now works freelance.
