Alexander Yarashevich is a Czechia based researcher and screenwriter at Belarusian Investigative Center z.s. (BIC).

In 2014-2021, he worked at the BelaPAN news agency, as a correspondent and economic observer at Naviny.by. In 2011-2013, Alexander was a correspondent at Belarusian Radio Racyja. 

Alexander Yarashevich won third place in the "Free Word" competition for journalistic investigation” (annual competition held by Belarusian Association of Journalists) and Future Story Awards 2021 by Media4Change for Best Corruption Investigation.

Investigations in which Alexander Yarashevich played a leading role have been shortlisted for the IJ4EU Impact Award in 2022 and 2023.
