All over the world, journalists are threatened, attacked or even murdered because they want to bring their audiences reliable information. With the Free Press Awards, we honour journalists who risk everything to bring us the news, media pioneers who pave the way for equality and justice and those who persevere under the most difficult circumstances.
For the fourth year in a row, we will be handing out the Free Press Awards to the most talented and courageous journalists around the world in the categories: Most Resilient Journalist, Newcomer of the Year and Best Report. The nominees will be announced soon!
