TIRANA - This project equipped Albanian journalists with the knowledge  to be able to report on environmental issues to the wider public in a clear way.

The training sessions took place between September and March 2022, with the aim to give to the journalists in Albania working on the national and local levels alike an understanding of environmental and climate change issues and how to report on them.

There were 6 sessions of 2 hours, 2 lectures in each session.

Some of the best journalists in Albania, 11 in total, took part in the training. There were 11 journalists in total who participated.

Among others, the issue of how to work together with scientists and experts in the field when doing climate and environmental reporting was discussed, as well as how to report accurately but without creating panic and doom among the readers.
