John Bones was a juror for Journalismfund's European Local Cross-border grant programme from 2022-2024. Mr. Bones (NO) was Managing Director at SKUP, the Norwegian Foundation for Investigative Reporting. For many years, Bones was the datajournalism specialist at VG, the most read daily newspaper in Norway, and previously was editor and politics editor. Started his career at Adresseavisen in 1979.
John Bones passed away on Monday, May 13 2024, after a long illness.
