The Data Harvest Conference, one of the most relevant networking events for journalists who want to cover Europe, was organised for the third time in 2013, with committed and clever journalists from all over Europe sharing enriching inspiration on European investigative and data journalism. #dataharvest13 took place on 3 and 4 May in Brussels.
Flemish minister of Media Sven Gatz attended the networking reception on Friday 3 June at the Dataharvest Conference in Mechelen, where he spoke about the conference, journalism and his plans for Flanders. Underneath his speech.
The Dataharvest European Investigative Journalism Conference organised by Journalismfund.eu is the most relevant networking event for investigative and data journalists in Europe. Dataharvest 2015 will take place on Friday 8, Saturday 9 and Sunday morning 10 May 2015, with a pre-conference Hackaton on Thursday 7 May. Like the previous years, the conference will take place in the centre of Brussels.

The new European Ombudsman Emily O’Reilly will be one of the headliners at the Dataharvest+ Conference, 9-11 May in Brussels. A former investigative journalist, she will talk about access to documents and Frontex, the European border management agency, among many other things.
